Fire Extinguisher Training
Be prepared with effective classroom and hands-on training
Give your staff the skills to deal with small workplace fires quickly and safely with our fire extinguisher training. Knowing how to properly use a portable fire extinguisher to tackle a fire in its early stages saves lives and limits property damage. First 5 Minutes’ fire extinguisher training course will equip your people with the practical experience and knowledge to use fire extinguishers and fire equipment on small workplace fires before they get out of control.
Training by the Experts
Our specialists have been training people in the proper and effective use of fire extinguishers for more than three decades. They regularly deliver onsite fire extinguisher training across Australia and overseas, so you can be confident you are working with the experts.
With a combination of both theoretical training and practical experience in the use of equipment, participants will come away with the confidence to deal with any small workplace fire quickly and safely.
Delivered onsite for your convenience, our fire extinguisher safety training will cover:
- Different types of fire
- Types of portable fire-fighting equipment found in the workplace
- How to use equipment effectively
- Safety procedures
Who Should Attend?
Members of the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO)/Wardens should take part in this training as a skills session. We recommend the ECO and wardens undertake refresher training at least once every 12 months. You may also choose to have some or all of your employees trained to maximise preparedness.
The fire extinguisher training course runs for approximately 90 minutes, including theoretical (classroom) and practical (hands-on) training.
