This emergency and fire warden training is specifically designed for the Wardens or Emergency Officers who are required to respond to any type of emergency in the workplace – including fires, bomb threats, chemical incidents and terrorism. These key people are responsible for directing and controlling an emergency response in their designated areas and, ultimately, getting people to safety.
Warden / Emergency Officer Skills training is usually performed in conjunction with Chief Warden / Emergency Coordinator Skills Training and Evacuation Exercises to create a fully trained and competent Emergency Control Organisation (ECO). We recommend that your ECO members take part in these skill sessions at least every 6 months.
Tailored to suit the specific requirements of your facility, the course complies with the requirements of Australian Standard AS 3745-2010: Planning for Emergencies in Facilities and AS 4083-2010: Planning for Emergencies in Health Care Facilities.
