Two Strangers Stabbed in Adelaide’s Rundle Mall

At around 2:45am on Saturday the 1st of July, a man stabbed two strangers, after a verbal altercation while all three were walking along Rundle Mall, in Adelaide’s CBD.A 21-year old suffered stab wounds to his neck and abdomen, he remains in a critical condition at the Royal Adelaide Hospital after undergoing emergency surgery. The second victim, also 21-years old was taken to hospital in a serious condition with stab wounds to his arm and face. The attack was captured on CCTV and showed the attacker purchasing food from Hungry Jacks less than half an hour later.Police arrested a 35-year old man on Sunday in Klemzig. He has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated intentionally causing harm with an offensive weapon. It is believed he was under the influence of an unknown substance during the incident and he remains in hospital. Bail was requested but refused and the case has been adjourned until September.Personal threat emergencies involve a person who is behaving in an aggressive, threatening or violent manner, who may be armed.
