Certificate II (Operations) is a component of the National Fire Curriculum.

Breathing apparatus competency training includes: elementary physiology of respiration, safe working practices, equipment use and maintenance, set duration, characteristics, set component parts and operation, operational testing, safe working practices, use of guidelines, distress signal and entry control procedures.

First 5 Minutes also designs lesson plans, training strategies, scenarios and exercises to maintain your high level of preparedness. This material is designed specifically to suit each application and takes into account the type and frequency of incidents, the requirements of Health and Safety legislation, operational obligations and natural turnover of personnel.

There is also a requirement for refresher training to maintain competency and a contract can be established to maintain training at specific intervals.  This can be designed to meet individual requirements.
